The watercraft of the future – the AED100,000 Quadrofoil

Groundbreaking aerodynamic and electronic technology combine to form the awesome zero-emissions Quadrofoil.

Speed, design, style and luxury – if we were given only four words to describe what we are interested in here atEDGAR, then it would be those. As it turns out, that was not the original question, but instead the four words that best describe the stunning new electric watercraft known as the Quadrofoil.

Designed in Slovenia, this fine, four-finned hydrofoiling personal watercraft (PWC) is quite the eye-catching piece of future tech. Not only does the C-foil technology allow the vessel to lift itself above the water – reducing both drag and noise – but the electric-charged motor drastically lowers its emission levels and makes it economical to run.

Taking ‘flight’ at the speed of six knots, adrenaline junkies need not worry as thanks to the lack of drag, the PWC will have you slicing through the water at cruising speeds of up to 20 knots (37km/h) with a range of up to 100km per charge.

Launching this month, the limited-edition Q2S model is available for AED 100,000. We have four more words for it: add to shopping cart.
