Mauro Corda's silver sculptures go on display in Dubai

Opera Gallery DIFC will celebrate the life and work of the French sculptor, with an exhibit of his work.

If you've been hanging around the Ritz-Carlton DIFC in Dubai of late, you would have noticed some pretty awesome sculptures on display across the hotel's grounds - the silver swordfish in the Sunken Garden, for instance. That's because the luxury chain partnered with nearby Opera Gallery last year, installing some of the gallery's artwork in its foyers, public areas and bars.

One artist whose work has featured heavily in the collaboration is Mauro Corda, and he's now about to have his own exhibition. Opera Gallery will be celebrating the life and work of the French sculptor on Wednesday 15th April, as well as that of award-winning painter André Brasilier, with an exhibit of both artists' work in DIFC.

While we've enjoyed wandering the Ritz-Carlton's opulent staircases and hallways, admiring the works on display, it will be fitting to finally view Corda's epic sculptures in an exhibition environment.
