Here in Dubai, Friday brunch has pretty much been done to death. We're all painfully aware of the grand buffets, crazy parties and over-the-top gastronomic delights on offer every Friday, but for those who want something altogether classier, the Saturday brunch is the way to go. Here are six delicious Dubai Saturday brunches to try:

Ba Restaurant & Lounge
As every package offered for the Yum Cha Brunch from Ba Restaurant & Lounge includes access to the private pool and beach area of the Fairmont The Palm, an afternoon spent at this chilled-out venue has all the relaxing qualities of even the most luxurious of spas. It wouldn't be a brunch without the food, though, and this brunch just so happens to excel in that department too, offering a vast range of delectable dim sum, Asain tapas and refreshing signature cocktails.

Sass Café
Expect to see all the classic Sass Café menu items plus a few special dishes, such as creamy burrata with truffle honey and grilled peaches, penne a la arrabbiata and nougat glace for dessert, which have been added to the menu especially for brunch. After the food is cleared away, the lights are dimmed and the venue's famous live piano bar entertainment kicks into full swing, ensuring Saturday afternoon finishes with a bang.

Luciano’s in the Habtoor Grand Beach Resort & Spa offers a genuine taste of Italy in the heart of Dubai Marina. Expect a bountiful antipasti buffet, crisp, fresh salads, live pasta stations, fresh pizza, and typically tempting desserts. There's the option to dine in the Italian-style surroundings indoors or bask in the sunshine outside, and for an extra fee, guests can gain access to the resort's pool and beach.

Located on the serene poolside terrace of the H Dubai, BBQ by Quantum is a great option for those with young ones to please but still want an adult ambiance. The venue offers a dedicated play area with face-painting, inflatable toys and a special kids' buffet, so the adults can be left to relax in peace. In terms of food, the barbecue is undoubtedly the main event, delivering deliciously sizzling 125-day grass-fed rib eye steak and Omani lobster, complimented by a range of fresh salads.

Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE
Mediterranean classics, fresh sushi, succulent meat cooked on live barbecue stations and an assortment of signature cocktails are the order of the day for Blue Marlin's acclaimed Saturday beach brunch. A high-energy option for the active bruncher, with a different theme every week, guests can take part in a variety of activities including jet skiing and stand-up paddle boarding. Or for those who prefer to relax there are plenty of beach beds to chill out and catch the last of the weekend's sunshine.

This sleek restaurant in Dubai Marine Beach Resort & Spa hosts a Saturday brunch for those looking to unwind and indulge at the end of the weekend. Seafood stars as a delicious selection of modern Japanese fare is served, along with classic house drinks. After the brunch the party kicks off, with house DJs taking to the decks for a Happy Hour from 7-10pm, and for people who really don't want the party to end, a set from DJ Stephane Karl from 10pm-3am!
