Lauge Jensen & Fisker produce Viking love child

August 6, 2014
Here at EDGAR, we've always believed that variety is the spice of life. So as much as we love Harley-Davidson motorcycles, it gives us a buzz when a stunning two-wheeler comes out from a different luxury bike company. And when that something different is a collaboration between the Danish customised motorcycle maker Lauge Jensen and renowned car designer Henrik Fisker, it's no wonder this bike has got us feeling weak at the knees. On the face of it, The Viking Concept is a classic cruiser with standard chopper looks. But Fisker wasn't brought in to design just another standard motorcycle. Made famous by the sports car company bearing his name, Fisker sculptured the Viking to have a dynamic, flowing design with the tank, seat and rear fender all blended together for a seamless effect. Powered by a a 45-degree V-twin producing 100hp, the bike can reach speeds of up to 210 km/h and yet it manages to comply with the strict new Euro IV emissions regulations that come into effect in 2016, without losing its Lauge Jensen V-twin sound. Not bad Fisker, not bad at all. [gallery link="none" ids="6771,6770,6769,6768"] Details: expected retail price AED 205,800. Visit laugejensen.dk
