Moscow's new Four Seasons hangout

July 7, 2014
If you're travelling to Moscow this summer then Manezhnaya Square, Red Square, Saint Basil’s Cathedral, the Kremlin and the Bolshoi Theatre are more than likely going to be on your list of must-see tourist sites. Add to that list the famous Hotel Moska - or as it is now known, Four Seasons Hotel Moscow. In fact, add it as your place to stay, as all the above mentioned attractions are just a few steps away from the luxury hotel's location. Formerly known as Hotel Moskva, the rebranded building has been refurbished to flawless modern standards while still retaining the 1930s charm that has made it such a recognisable feature of the Russian capital. With 180 spacious rooms ranging from a decent 48 square metres for a deluxe room to a positively palatial 520 square metres for the Pozharsky Royal Suite, the hotel doesn't skimp on space despite its central location. [gallery link="none" ids="5002,5003,5005,5006,4998"] Fixtures and fittings are, as you'd imagine, extremely high-end, with a Nespresso machine and iPad in each room, along with complimentary Roberto Cavalli products in the bathrooms. The hotel is home to two world-class restaurants - Italian and authentic Russian - plus a street-level bar offering classic cocktails and an extensive selection of champagnes, wines and spirits. Of course, the hotel also houses a luxurious spa, which features a mosaic-tiled indoor pool, a 24-hour fitness centre and private treatment rooms. Details: the Four Seasons Hotel Moscow is taking bookings, with its first arrivals set for October 30 this year. Visit
