Pretend you're a King this Eid
July 24, 2014
There are many ways you can relax in luxury this Eid - we listed most of them here
- but to really unwind, you need to go somewhere where you'll be treated like a King.
Qasr Al Sarab - the Anantara run desert resort in the UAE's empty quarter - is offering you that chance with the opening of its Royal Pavilion Villas.
At a cost of AED 100,000 the 10 luxury villas can be yours for two nights inclusive of breakfast, lunch and dinner - and you'll be welcomed on arrival with a foot cleansing ritual.
Secluded from the resort's main buildings - AKA the riffraff - the royal villas are the epitome of luxury desert dwelling, each coming with its own personal villa host. You'll also meet with the hotel's Chef to discuss your dining preferences and to create a 'tailor-made culinary journey' for your stay, although they'll probably have most of your cravings covered with Canadian lobster and Japanese Wagyu beef on the menu.
If you're after something more active this Eid than just kicking back by your private pool, then take your pick from camel riding, dune bashing, archery, desert land sailing and fat biking. But remember, ask your villa host to make the bookings for you; after all if you're going to live like a royal, you need to act like one.
