Qatar Airways Launches All-Business Class Flight
May 15, 2014
If you’re a frequent flier then you’ll know as equally important as where you’re going is how you’re getting there.
Rule number one: always turn left when boarding a plane; that’s where you’ll find the comfier seats and larger legroom.
But ensuring you travel Business Class rather than Economy is no longer an issue for those flying with Qatar Airways, as the airline has launched its first all-business class service.
The daily route between Doha and London Heathrow - aptly named Business One - operates an all-premium service on an Airbus A319, configured to fit 40 business class seats in a 2-2 configuration. If you’ve never flown in a private jet before, this is probably as close as you can get.
The all-business class service means Qatar Airways’ will now operate six flights a day to Heathrow airport, demonstrating how much the gas-rich country has invested in London.
Business One seats will recline into fully flat beds for those looking to catch up on their sleep on the six hour flight, while passengers on a sugar rush will have over 1,000 options to choose from on the airline’s Oryx entertainment system.
The only catch we can see is now you have no excuse for being tired when you head straight to the office from the airport.
