The hotel with the biggest Rolls-Royce fleet in the world
September 30, 2014
If you're one of those guys who eschews posh hotel limousines in favour of the cheaper yet much less glamorous standard taxis, this is probably not for you. However, if, like us, you prefer to travel in style and extreme comfort, then any journey from the upcoming Louis XIII Hotel in Macau will be your idea of heaven.
Why? Because the hotel has just placed an order for 30 bespoke extended-wheelbase Rolls-Royce Phantoms, including two of the most expensive Phantoms ever commissioned, to be used for its fleet of taxis.
Clearly luxury is something that's important to the developers and they won't spare any expense at all in that pursuit, which is evident from the fact that this transaction represents the single largest order of Rolls-Royce vehicles ever.
Each of the 30 cars have been extensively customised by Rolls-Royce's bespoke design team at Goodwood, with bespoke clocks designed by Graff Luxury Watches just one of the features. The two most expensive cars will also boast gold-plated accents on the both the interior and exterior.
Not only will Rolls-Royce provide the vehicles, but they also helped design the hotel parking and driveways so they're perfectly shaped to accommodate the fleet. And to top it all, they will also train the chauffeurs in how to drive and handle the unique vehicles appropriately. Now that's what we call travelling in style.
