The Mechanics Of Hermès Time

April 29, 2014
We have a lot of time – sorry – for short videos like this. Le Montre Hermès, the watchmaking division of the luxury French brand, has made a fun three-minute animation clip inviting you to travel back in time and see how some of its emblematic timepieces were made. Dubbed “The Mechanics of Hermès Time” the animation features pencil-drawn workers – hand-designed by Phillippe Dumas – creating some of the Maison’s best-known watches including its inception, the Porte-Oignon, from 1912. Go on. Take three minutes out of your busy schedule and enjoy.
