Nike wants you to discover Dubai while getting fit

Nike’s ‘Dubai starts with a Run’ drive wants you to explore Dubai neighbourhoods while you get in shape.

Summer is here and you’re working as hard as you can to get beach ready. We don’t blame you, with the rising temperature you could use a little splash. Even we are doing everything we can to get in some kind of shape before we reach peak summer.

Of course, not everyone has the time to hit the gym. Sometimes you just want to go on a low –intensity jog or run. We get it. Evidently, Nike gets it too. However, the American corporation also understands how repetitive and boring running can get which is why it has introduced its ‘Dubai starts with a Run’ drive.

The platform introduced on nike.com is exclusive to three cities around the world: Istanbul, Moscow and Dubai. The idea hopes to help runner discover the ‘N’Hoods’ or neighbourhoods of the selected cities. Nike calls it a way to make runners connect with the city they live in.

Each ‘N’Hood’ is represented by one Nike revolutionair. Dubai’s N’Hoods, Dubai Canal (3 km), Dubai Marina (5 km) and Downtown Dubai (4.5 km), are represented by Laura Fallaha, DJ Keza and Ahmad Saraf respectively.

To start your revolutionair run, all you have to do is go to nike.com/ followed by your preferred neighbourhood name. For example, if you’d like to try Ahmad Saraf’s route, you could go to nike.com/downtowndubai.

Remember to plug in your headphones before you take off. Depending on your selection, you’ll be able to listen to a respective representative’s voice – egging you on to give it your all – and their personal playlist.

Go on then, that summer body is not going to shape itself.
