2021 Lexus LC 500 convertible accelerates into the UAE

Just in time for winter, Al-Futtaim has just announced that the very first convertible from Lexus is now available in the UAE. The 2021 Lexus LC 500 represents the Japanese car maker’s debut in the convertible market, and what a looker to launch with.

You first notice that enormous grille that has become a Lexus trademark of late. But your eye is soon drawn to the sharp lines and curves that make this drop-top an instant head turner. Then there are the rear lamps that are based on glow of a jet engine. All of which sit on a 21-inch rims.

It’s not just a pretty face either. Far from it.

The Lexus LC 500 convertible comes with 5-litre V8 engine that packs a hefty 471bhp. This gives you a rapid 0-100kmh of 4.7 seconds and a top speed that’s electronically limited to 270kmh. So it’s probably best not to wear a cap if you’re going to test the speed with the top down.
