Adidas Pulseboost HD contain a musical surprise

Words by Nathan Irvine

The beat goes on.

Not content with simply serving up some new hi-spec and hi-tech running shoes, Adidas has a small treat for runners. Thanks to a partnership with music streaming platform Spotify, Adidas Pulseboost HD has a bespoke workout playlist tucked into each pair.

Just scan the QR code in the tongue and a specially curated, and exclusive, playlist will appear. Obviously, you’ll need Spotify on your smartphone for it to work. But we’re loving this quirky idea.

Tech this out

It’s not just about cute gimmicks though. Adidas has pooled its decades of research for these latest kicks and is confident in the performance of these urban runners.

That Pulseboost HD technology gives a lower ride that’s capable of handling sudden stops, jumps and changes of direction. All of which contributes to take the impact off your joints so you can put in more kilometres. They also have Continental soles, which means they can handle most surfaces without slipping.

You can grab them in four different colourways. Though we must admit, the black and orange numbers you can see above are our favourites.

Adidas Pulseboost HD are available in stores and at adidas.ae for AED 649.
