Apple Music shines spotlight on new Middle Eastern stars

Apple Music just launched a new initiative to highlight the future stars of the Middle East. The “New Artists: Middle East” playlist is an eclectic mix of styles, genres and sounds provided by the hidden gems in the GCC.

With Apple providing the platform, fans from across the globe will be able to discover their new favourite artists in a straightforward manner.

One of the first tracks to be featured on the playlist is “My PlayStation” by Ahmad AlNasheet (pictured at the top of the article).

AlNasheet said “I am so honoured to be one of the first artists featured in the ‘New Artists: Middle East’ playlist. It feels good to represent our region, which is something I have always tried to do, be it from video gaming to acting to creating content and now music”.

The best part about the new playlist is that it will continue to grow over time. So subscribers will be able to find new artists as time goes by and check back in on the good stuff they’ve already listened to.
