The “Show Time” bit is a dead giveaway. And the evidence stacks up further when you consider that Star Wars director J.J. Abrams has already signed up to produce an Apple-exclusive show with Jennifer Garner.
But it’s not just Apple’s Netflix rival that’s expected to be at the March show. A news subscription service that gives you access to magazines and newspapers for a monthly fee has been mooted.
There’s also talk of a new iPad and iPad Mini, which is expected to make its biggest technological leap forward yet. Updated AirPods are also in the mix along with the long-awaited air charging pad for swift battery recharges .
And, somewhat unbelievably, there just might be a return of Apple’s iPod. If so, it’ll be interesting to see just how it plans to encourage people to carry two devices around with them now, considering the iPhone already holds more music we can listen to.
All will be revealed on March 25.
Apple’s March 25 keynote speech will stream live at apple.com at 9pm GST.
