Architecture photography prize nominees

An office block in Tokyo, a bridge in Abu Dhabi, and a hotel in Singapore – on the surface these places may not seem like very dynamic subjects for a photographer. But when captured in the right light, at the right angle, from the right viewpoint by a skilled lens merchant, these ordinary buildings become pieces of art. Seven stunning images from photographers from countries such as Indonesia, Russia and the UAE have been nominated in the architecture category at next month’s Xposure International Photography Festival in Sharjah.
