Words by Nathan Irvine

Valkyrie takes flight.

Aston Martin has unveiled its new hypercar, the Valkyrie. The sleek looking motor is the result of years of research and combined knowledge between the British car maker and Red Bull Advanced Technologies. And it looks absolutely incredible.

Going the distance

The big reveal took place at the 2019 British F1 race at Silverstone alongside the Red Bull’s F1 car wrapped in the new livery. In show of power, the 1,160bhp machine demonstrated the kind of pace that Aston Martin hopes will propel it closer to the FIA World Endurance Championship in the future.

Aston Martin is also set to roll the first of the 150 road-going Valkyries down the production line by the end of 2019. Sadly, if you were thinking of getting one, you’re out of luck as they sold out within days.
