Berluti Spring 2019 Collection is Here

Words by Rob Chilton

The luxury Parisian brand has unveiled its brand new spring capsule collection.

Spring has sprung which means, lighter fabrics, looser fits and cooler colours. Kris Van Assche, the talented new designer behind menswear at Berluti, has received the message loud and clear.

The new pre-collection for spring is wearable and simple, with a nod towards workwear and outdoors living.

Style’s current number one guy, Rami Malek is a fan and has been spotted in Van Assche’s much raved-about collection.

To showcase his new Berluti capsule – titled Bright Day – artistic director Van Assche chose the stunning Art Deco architecture of Miami. The sharp lines of the city contrast beautifully with his unstructured creations. The gentle Florida sunlight, meanwhile, gives everything an easygoing glow.

Take a look at the Belgian’s relaxed and organic range of clothing, bags and footwear as we pick out our highlights.

Founded in Paris in 1895 and famous for classic leather shoes, this new menswear collection is yet another step in the exciting evolution of Berluti’s history.

Van Assche left Dior Homme to take over from the acclaimed Haider Ackermann in early 2018 with the aim of continuing Berluti’s burgeoning menswear line.
