Carrera unveils special edition Dubai sunglasses

Words by Rob Chilton

Iconic Italian eyewear brand pays tribute to the UAE city.

Among the medals, firearms and banknotes on display at Dubai’s superb Etihad Museum is a pair of sunglasses belonging to His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the UAE.

They’re made by Carrera, the Italian eyewear brand that began trading in 1956. Today, more than 60 years later, Carrera marks another milestone in its relationship with the UAE with the release of a special edition pair of sunglasses.
