Cole Haan Generation Zerogrand sneakers drop

Making a late play for summer kicks of the season, US footwear specialist Cole Haan has launched its latest line of sneakers the Generation Zerogrand. The colourful new line-up is inspired by Gen-Z (read: those born in the mid-90s to mid-00s) creatives and their need to stand out from a crowd.

They certainly do, too. With bold colours of yellow, red and more, the Generation Zerogrands are far from the somewhat stuffiness of Cole Haan’s previous collections.

Seen Hu before

At first glance, Cole Haan appears to have sampled the Adidas Pharrell Williams Tennis Hu. Its silhouette - with its chunky outsole and perforated upper - really does look like the Originals favourite.

This is no bad thing, of course as it breathes energy and a touch of much needed flair into footwear.
