Dubai World Cup season is back at The Meydan Hotel

Words by Nathan Irvine

Trot in

It’s that time of year again when Dubai becomes the centre of the horse racing universe. The Dubai World Cup season has already galloped out of the box and is cruising down the home straight to finale on March 27th. And what better way to watch it than at the only hotel overlooking the track.

The Meydan Hotel is the place to be for all your racing needs this season. As well as staycation options, the 5-star hotel has also launched the “Dine & View” experience that marries its F&B offering with trackside views.

A winning formula

The packages run on a Thursday and Saturday until the big race has finished. Thursday night - 7pm-11pm - is the 90s brunch at Farriers restaurant. It will have a retro soundtrack for the evening while you indulge in delicious fare and take in the racing from the terrace area.

Saturday sees a tweak on the food at Farriers as a huge barbecue banquet will keep you well fed as you watch the action go down.

If you fancy a change of view, you can head to the hotel’s Millenium Lounge, which will also drinks, nibbles and a DJ spinning the latest tunes.

There’s no better way to experience the Dubai World Cup in 2021.
