Four Score

Words by Edgar Daily

Hugo Boss should win the manager of the month award after signing four huge football stars to its squad. In what could be the beginnings of a pretty handy five-a-side team, Hugo Boss has snapped up Harry Kane, Philippe Coutinho, Julian Draxler and Alvaro Morata to be the fresh new faces of its fragrance team.

Enormous competition for places meant Morata missed out on a berth in the World Cup squad for Spain, one of the tournament’s big favourites. But, barring injury, the three remaining chaps will all be on the plane to Russia for the World Cup this month. Kane will skipper England, Coutinho will pull the strings in midfield for Brazil, and Draxler will maraud down the flanks for World Cup holders Germany.

But before they pull on the shirt of their country, the awesome foursome wore tailored Hugo Boss suits and adopted smouldering Zoolander gazes while marching moodily in cool campaign photos for Boss Bottled United.

The limited edition fragrance is a blend of spearmint, blood orange, vetiver, patchouli and buchu, a South African herb, and comes in a shiny silver bottle. Come July 15 in the World Cup final, these players will be hoping to get their hands on something similarly shiny, but gold in colour.
