Michael Kors launches special 007 capsule collection

Michael Kors has been given a license to thrill Bond and fashion fans. The luxury brand has announced a special partnership with the 007 franchise that will see it create a capsule collection of bags in 2020.

Of course, the partnership comes at a great time. The 25th Bond film, No Time To Die arrives in April, and will represent Daniel Craig’s final stint in the famous tux. There’s no better time to ride the James Bond wave.

In the bag

The MKC x 007 collection includes three carefully crafted bags that are fit for a super-cool secret agent - the Bond Bancroft satchel, Bond Carryall and Bond Duffel (above).

The Bond Bancroft satchel - a special take on the Michael Kors classic - is made from luxury leather and though it has a sleek design, it has plenty of room inside. The carryall is another suave piece that is made from soft calf leather and duffel is delivered in a cotton canvas. The latter also has an exclusive MKC x 007 leather travel tag.

Michael Kors says of the deal “Jet set glamour, sophistication, speed, energy—these are all words that come to mind when you think about the world of James Bond.”

“They’re also at the core of our brand DNA. This collaboration was really the perfect union of fashion and film.” Kors added.

All of the items from the collection will be available in store and online from late March onwards.
