Red Hot Chili Peppers to perform in Abu Dhabi

Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced that they will play Abu Dhabi on September 4. The band famous for tracks such as Californication and Give It Away will perform as part of the Abu Dhabi Showdown Week that will provide the build up to UFC 242 in the capital.

It marks the band's first gig in the UAE as they step up to the newly built venue, The Arena. And if you've never seen them before, you're in for a treat. Let's just say the amount of energy they put into each set is legendary.

Tip of the iceberg

Abu Dhabi Showdown Week will see the emirate come to life with attractions and events between September 1-7. From exclusive beach parties and gym activations, to UFC fan zones where you can meet and greet fighters such as the two headlining UFC 242, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dustin Poirier. It's going to be quite the week.
