Now, a year later, Djokovic has a new serving action to help his troublesome elbow and is targeting a return to his best this season. Helping him stay focused in the sunshine, on and off court, is a new range of Lacoste eyewear that Djokovic has designed himself.
As you would expect from such a dedicated champion, Djokovic’s meticulous nature and attention to detail is clearly evident in these new sunglasses made from premium materials that he has helped to create.
The stylish new Novak Djokovic Collection features three pairs of shades for different environments. A slim vintage aviator has a double metal bridge and a bold three-colour barrel on the temple. A rectangular pair inspired by a Lacoste tennis racquet comes in premium brushed acetate or a sophisticated wood effect. And finally Djokovic has designed a sports unisex model with coloured Zeiss performance mirror lenses encased in black, white or blue frames that are inspired by the Serb’s apparel collection for Lacoste.
The 12-time Grand Slam winner has discreetly added his distinctive ND monogram to the end of the tip of each frame, while Lacoste’s famous crocodile sits proudly on the lenses, nose pads or temples. With his every move sure to be scrutinised this summer, Novak Djokovic is well prepared for the glare.
