The star turns coming to the United Arab Emirates... in no particular order.

2020 is already shaping up to be one of the biggest and best for musical acts in the UAE. From huge multi-artist concerts to intimate gigs - the emirates has it covered this year.

So we’ve pulled together a list of the biggest international acts that will drop by in 2020. Obviously, these are the only ones we know about at the time of writing, but we full expect a fair few more to be announced soon.

Anyway, here’s a quick gig guide for the year for you.

Iron Maiden

British heavy metal legends are set to shake the roof off the Coca-Cola Arena in May. For four decades the Bruce Dickinson led band has rocked the world with their energetic performances. This will be one of the stops on what is rumoured to be Iron Maiden’s last ever tours so be sure to grab your tickets ASAP.

Ms. Lauryn Hill

As one third of The Fugees, Ms. Lauryn Hill mesmerised with her lyrical flow and soulful voice. Ever since then, Miss Hill has gone on to carve out a fantastic solo career with outstanding tunes such as the catchy Doo Wop (That Thing). Although shunning the spotlight since the early 2000s, this is a great opportunity to see and hear one of the best female solo artists around.

Robbie Williams

The Let Me Entertain You singer and former Take That-er is performing an exclusive gig at The Pointe. Williams has found continued success as a solo artist through the years, but does often pull some old Take That tunes out of the bag when he performs. His rock take on Want You Back For Good is worth the entrance fee alone.

He’s tearing up the rap and grime game in the UK, and with his new album Heavy is the Head sky-rocketing to number one, Stormzy has never been more in-demand. Thankfully, we’ll get to see the main man in action at RedFest 2020 in what should be one of the best nights of the year.

Lionel Richie

The American crooner is heading back to Dubai once again for the Dubai Jazz Festival. One thing that’s always consistent with a gig from Lionel Richie is the energy he puts into his performance. Just try not to dance when All Night Long comes on, we dare you.

A-Ha

Now, you might think the Norwegian bands are a one-trick pony. We’ve all heard Take On Me, right? But A-ha also has a rich back catalogue of music that is capable of transcending multiple genres. Manhattan Skyline is a certified banger.
